"We just had a family evening at this hotel. Kremmling is a central place for family members to meet. We have done this at restaurants in the past - but this hotel was so much better. It felt like home away from home. Christine, the manager, was warm and welcoming, and ready to provide whatever we needed (including butter from her own frig). We visited in the cozy common room, and used the little kitchen. And after our family time, my husband and I slept in the most comfortable bed ever. This place is unique. It is full of antiques, the floors creak, and the upstairs is a maze of hallways. You can peak in the rooms and see that they are each decorated differently. They vary, in size and in whether they have their owner bathroom. If you want cookie-cutter modern, this place isn't for you. But if you like history and character and coziness, you will love it. P.S. We understand that there is a new owner, as of just before our stay. So I want to say to him, please keep the hotel just as it is. It is a gem."

"With having 1 day to book a hotel for a wedding in Kremmling, we found 1 room at Hotel Eastin. At first I was skeptical but when we arrived the owner was very accommodating. She helped us to our room (personally) and showed us where the popcorn machine, tea and snack were and said to help ourselves. I have never stayed in such an incredible hotel in my life. It felt like the olden days where the workers were genuinely nice and actually cared and wanted to make you feel at home. The beds were unbelievably comfortable as well. There's rooms with bathrooms but ours only had a sink (seeing we booked 24 hour in advance) so we had a shared bathroom down the hall. Surprisingly the bathroom was very clean. I would 100% stay there again!!! If you're looking for a cute, comfortable, old fashioned hotel, stay here. Thanks Hotel Eastin!"

"Charming place! Authentically restored with small sink in the bedroom, vent over the door, and period touches. (People of a certain age will remember the sinks, the vents, and even bathroom/shower down the hall for budget travelers. Medicine cabinet over the sink even had the slot in the back where you put your used razor blades.) Clean as a whistle, friendly staff, homemade cookies & hot chocolate set the tone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel is an old building that has been remodeled in a very spectacular fashion - each room has a theme to it, and lots of amazing touches. And the owners are wonderful, warm people. I would make a detour to Kremmling to stay here again, just so I'd have a chance to stay in another room with another decorating scheme and to see the owners again."

"We only stayed one night but we'd come back in a heartbeat. The whole place is a quirky wonderland. When we arrived, the owner offered us cookies and coffee (it was cookie night), showed us to our meticulously-decorated room, and gave us a bit of a tour of the fantastic hotel. Then, we tried to help out efforts to put together a western-themed puzzel in the lobby. There were many thoughtful amenities and the owner was very nice. This is definitely not a conventional hotel and bathrooms are shared. But, if you don't mind that, (and we didn't, everything was very clean), then definitely stay here. The world needs more places with character like this one."

"Amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Themed rooms of historical events from the area or INSIDE the hotel makes this a bit of museum as well. Stayed there while just passing through and will definitely make the trip just to stay there again."

"It's hard to imagine a better place to stay than the Eastin! It's clear that the owners have put a great deal of thought into making their property comfortable and convenient for the guests. For example, the old building has few electrical outlets, so the owners have placed charging stations with multiple plugs in the rooms and the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. Downstairs is a small kitchen with utensils and a large fridge. Friday evening is homemade cookie night! (Butterscotch chip for us) The bed is comfortable and the sheets were soft. Prices don't change on weekends or holidays. For those planning on going to Hot Sulphur Springs down the road, they offer towels. Keep in mind, the hotel was built in 1906, so the rooms and bathrooms are small, but we didn't mind. The atmosphere is true to its Western heritage. Famed Western artist, C.M. Russell's work fills the hotel and our room was provided with a book of Walter Matthews watercolors. The hotel's owners think for themselves. Rather than outsource their brains to consultants, they run their business by their own lights. They are trying--and succeeding--in creating a comfortable experience in a unique atmosphere at a workingman's price. Short walk to the downtown and a coffee shop offering the gamut of espressos and lattes. If you're looking for an authentic slice of Americana, to escape corporate homogenization, or for just a comfortable stay, this is it. Five-star review, but if I could, I'd give it a sixth."

"The host was kind and pleasant. I would highly recommend this establishment. Their preservation of history and a well decorated theme rooms add a historical flair. The beds were very comfortable. I cannot say enough about this stay. We have been on a road trip for 12 days and this was by far the best place we found."

"We had such an amazing experience here - the owner is incredibly friendly. They provide tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and popcorn, as well as amenities to prepare your own food. The beds were comfy and the rooms had a lot of character. We liked it so much I made a Tripadvisor account just to review it! Thanks from study abroad students from England, Austria and Norway."

"The hospitality is amazing! I also loved the history of the building. Really cool place to walk around during your stay. They leave the doors open to unoccupied rooms so you have a chance to see all of the history."

"This place has character and not at all like a chain hotel you might normally find. The owners are wonderful hosts and you'd be a fool to stay anywhere else. Right in the middle of town and everything this area has to offer."

"Stayed here very unexpectedly after deciding not to attempt Rabbit Ears pass in a snow storm at night.Owners were very helpful and even helped me get a refund on the hotel I had in Steamboat. This is an older hotel that has been fixed up very nicely. Just read the descriptions of the room choices as they are accurate. Best part was the bed was super comfortable and the fresh cookies at night! Cant beat it for the price!"

"I had the privilege of staying here while on on business trip. This is so cool the building is a historic building and still has the old school touch, and feel. the current owners have done an amazing job fixing the place up. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, and affordable. The rooms are theamed rooms. I have stayed in some at other hotels and they are bad. They have done all the work them selves. And done an amazing job. The used beetle kill so it looks super cool. Not to mention the owners are the nicest people. I checked in and he took the time to show me around. Explain all there rules and perks they offer. I can not say enough good things about this place. If you are in the area. Definitely stay here."

"What a find! This hotel was a quick stop on our way to another location... I wish we had more time to stay there. New owner Thomas and manager Christine were phenomenal! Great greeting with hotel history and tour. Our room (John Denver room), was SO MUCH FUN! Great themed rooms, lots of options to fit groups of different sizes. Room did get warm at night, there is a centrally controlled radiator heating system. I had a personal fan with me and it was nice. I will definitely be back again. It was a wonderful experience!"

"Step out of the present and step into a wonderful past when you come through the front door of the Hotel Eastin. Remarkably clean and well maintained 1906 built hotel. As you sit in the nostalgic welcome lobby you might expect John Wayne (who once stayed here) to ride up on his horse in full cowboy gear, to come in and greet you. Climbing up the stairs, which creak with every step, you wend your way to your warm and welcoming room that you reserved. Some rooms have their own private bathroom, but other rooms require a walk down the hall to the fresh & clean community bathrooms. Make sure, when you book, that you pay attention to which type of room you are booking. While the hotel and rooms are very nostalgic, the beds are ultra comfortable. we woke in the morning refreshed and cheery. We were very reluctant to step out the front door and back into the present...so we will plan a future venture to the Hotel Eastin for our step back in time ..."

"I had not planned to stay in Kremmling originally. I was familiar with the Eastin, but had never stayed there. LOVE the place. The stairs creak a bit like my grandparents old Iowa farmhouse. The bathroom down the hall was always available. Kremmling offered a wonderful dinner place, just a block away at the Dean West Brewstillery! A fine breakfast at the Moose, again a block and a half walk. I'll be back. Kremmling and the Eastin are just too comfortable!!"

"The Hotel Eastin's historic atmosphere and ambiance is one of Colorado's best kept secrets. The John Denver Room's interior is on point and refreshing especially when compared to those chain hotels/motels along I-70. The hospitality is unparalleled and the John Denver Room was cleaned, daily, during four day stay. Tia was our amazing hostess/manager and ensured that our stay was fantastic."
